Arabella Stanton is a British actress. At the time she was cast to play Hermione, she was 11 years old, which exactly matched her character’s age. I started auditioning for Matilda The Musical a week after my 9th birthday, and I feel very lucky and honored to have played Matilda Wormwood at the Cambridge Theatre in London, with the Royal Shakespeare Company (and at Buckingham Palace, for a very special performance at the BBC 500 Words finals), when I was just 9 years old. Playing the role of Matilda in my West End debut was amazing… dreams really can come true!
