. While in fiction, her character, journalist Elisa, had to deal with her father’s (Arthur Kohl) serious health condition, in real life the actress was facing the loss of her own father, also actor Luca de Castro (1953-2023).
“It was quite disturbing for me to go through this, because my father passed away during the recordings. The coincidences between life and art do not stop at the issue of health: in fiction, Elisa tries to prove herself as a competent sports journalist while also needing to step out of her father’s shadow, an icon in the coverage of the area. Despite all the difficulties, despite the injury worthy of an expensive player, despite being there in moments of great pain, whether physical or emotional, I had a lot of fun during the recordings, I felt at home, comfortable. It was only joy in the way the team came together and said:

“Let’s do this series, let’s finish this work!” emphasized the actress.
“And it’s very interesting to launch this series after ‘Garota do Momento,’ which was a wonderful drama, and now come with a character that has comedy, with an acidic social critique. I was really looking forward to this opportunity to show other aspects, other layers. It’s the perfect timing of destiny to come with ‘Jogo Cruzado’ right after the soap opera,” he stated.
